The Dolphins have reportedly hired Joe Barry to teach the linebackers and oversee running games.

According to reports, Joe Barry, who once served as the defensive coordinator for the Packers, has relocated.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, Barry will be joining the staff of Mike McDaniel, who also serves as the head coach of the Dolphins.

 Barry is going to be the coordinator of the run game and the linebackers coach for the club.

Following the Packers' loss from the playoffs a month ago, Barry was terminated from his position with the team

His tenure on the staff of Matt LaFleur in Green Bay lasted for three years before he was stripped of his responsibilities. 

Over the course of his career, Barry has served as a linebackers coach for a number of different teams. In addition, he has previously held the position of defensive coordinator for Washington and Detroit.

Anthony Weaver was selected to take over as the defensive coordinator for the Dolphins offense. Anthony Campanile, who served as the linebackers coach for the team in 2023

also participated in the interview process for the post; however, it is not known what, if any, role he will have on the coaching staff for this year's squad.
